It’s one thing to see the new screen on a demo unit that isn’t even turned on, and it’s another seeing it actually work. Here’s what the EeePC 900’s screen looks like when the computer is on:

Now I know why I sold my 4G EeePC
Hindsight is always 20-20 vision.
(You’re repeating yourself, Bernie. This was your exact same comment on the Next Gen post yesterday!)
Nah, I think Bernie is actually feeling post-sale anxiety and badly needs to justify why he had to sell his beeeeeyuuuuutiful 4G EeePC. He misses it. He wishes it will call.
Art, you hit the nail on the head. He’s grateful the 900 came out and gave him a retro-excuse.

hello. it’s meeh again. i read your whole eeepc blog but i don’t think there was a review on the camera. what’s ur opinion? effective po ba? like in yahoo messenger?
@Hannah Grace – Am planning a short post on it in the future, but I’m not prioritizing it. Honestly, I’m not a big webcam user (yet), mostly because the poor quality of most webcams turn me off. The Eeep’s cam isn’t really much spec-wise, and my occasional usage in Skype confirms it. It’s adequate, but hopefully the EeePC 900’s will be much better. Will do a post soon. (Thanks for actuallly reading the entire blog!)
